The transition to abstraction, ELA's edition: opinion — the form of K–5 — is deliberately consumed by the evidence-bearing claim, exactly as fractions were consumed by ratios across the hall. Evidence reaches KS-7 (cited unprompted), the paragraph takes its KS-8 terminal — dissected, then consumed by the essay — and sentence conventions face their KS-10 gate: a timed draft with zero boundary or agreement errors, because the argument years will tax every scrap of working memory and none can be spent on whether a sentence is a sentence.
