You have probably heard that artificial intelligence is coming to classrooms — and you have probably also heard that AI sometimes gets things wrong. Both are true. Our approach, called Validated Generative Tutoring (VGT), is built around one simple rule that resolves that tension:
Your child never sees anything the AI wrote unless a qualified teacher has personally checked and approved it first.
That is not a slogan — it is how the system is physically built. The AI and your child are never connected directly. Between them stands a teacher, every single time.
Why use AI at all? Writing good practice problems takes time. A teacher preparing twenty fresh, well-matched math problems for every student, every day, simply runs out of hours. AI is remarkably good at the drafting part; what it cannot be trusted to do alone is guarantee that every problem is correct. So we let the AI do what it does best — draft in volume — and let teachers do what they do best: judge quality.
How It Works
Step by Step
1.The AI drafts practice problems
Fresh problems written every day, in volume — endless variety in seconds. Because AI can occasionally make mistakes, every draft is treated as unchecked until a person reviews it.
2.A teacher checks every problem
A qualified educator reads each problem and asks: Is the answer actually correct? Is it clearly written? Is it right for this age and level? Problems that pass enter the approved library; problems that fail are rejected and logged — and never seen by any student.
3.Your child practices
The tutoring system selects problems for your child only from the approved library — never straight from the AI — adapting as they work: more challenge when they are cruising, more reinforcement when a concept has not clicked yet.
4.You see the patterns
As your child practices, the system notices patterns — strong on multiplication, consistently missing fractions — and summarizes them in plain-language reports for you and the teacher.
Think of it like a restaurant kitchen. The prep cooks (the AI) can chop and prepare in quantity, but the head chef (the teacher) tastes and approves every dish before it leaves the kitchen. Diners only ever see chef-approved plates.

▸Can the AI teach my child something wrong?
Not through this system. Incorrect drafts are caught at the teacher checkpoint and rejected before any student sees them. Students only ever draw from the approved library.
▸Is my child talking to a chatbot?
No. Your child sees practice problems and feedback — the same kind of materials a workbook provides, but fresher, more varied, and matched to their level. There is no open-ended AI conversation involved.
▸Does this replace teachers?
The opposite. Teachers gain time (the AI handles drafting), authority (they approve every item), and insight (the pattern reports). Every important decision remains a human one.
▸Who reviews the problems?
Qualified educators on our staff. Every approved problem carries a record of who reviewed it and when — the library is fully auditable, and any problem can be flagged, pulled immediately, and re-reviewed.
▸What about my child's privacy?
In the current classroom, all practice results and knowledge-state estimates are stored on your own device — nothing is sent to a server. Progress reports are built locally for you and your child's teacher to read together.
▸What does the AI decide about my child?
Nothing. It notices patterns; people decide what to do about them. The technology informs; humans choose.
