The terminal course, split at the objective layer like MATH 90: the citizen's voice (90.1 — research synthesis at KS-9, sources reconciled into an original, defended position; discussion carried to resolution) and the collegiate reading load (90.2 — argument and rhetoric analyzed as made objects in collegiate-register prose, including where the text leaves matters uncertain). The exit is cumulative, unannounced in coverage, and weighted toward transfer — because ENGL 100 will assume KS-5 retention of the entire language apparatus.
