Meridian Note
The seam into rhetoric, and four fixes converge: the essay takes its terminal fix at KS-7 — the form produced unprompted, the assumption freshman composition makes most confidently, and the instrument every other subject's upper certification depends on — while evidence takes its KS-8 terminal: the student no longer finds evidence, he ranks it. The year's civic deliverable is a real letter to a real editor — the first piece of writing sent beyond the school's walls.
